SUN Brisbane to Adelaide 
Join your flight to Adelaide. Make your own way to your accommodation and the rest of the day is free to explore this historic city. Overnight: Mercure Grosvenor Hotel or similar, 3 nights

MON Adelaide 
This morning you will join your City Sights Tour. Highlights include a visit to the Haigh’s Chocolate Factory, a walk on the Glenelg Esplanade and time to admire the view at Colonel Light’s lookout.  

TUE Barossa Valley & Hahndorf (L)
Today visit the largest wine producing region in Australia, the world famous Barossa Valley. Taste premium award winning wines, view magnificent stone architecture and quaint boutique wineries, all encapsulated in peaceful rural setting.  

WED Adelaide to Alice Springs
Make your own way to the Adelaide Parklands Terminal in time for your 12.30pm departure on board The Ghan. Sit back, relax and enjoy the stunning scenery of central Australia. Overnight: The Ghan

THU Alice Springs 
Arrive in Alice Springs at 1.45pm and you will make your way to your accommodation. The rest of the day is free to explore at your leisure. Overnight: Aurora Alice Springs or similar, 2 nights

FRI Alice Springs (L) 
Travel west from Alice Springs following the spectacular West MacDonnell Ranges. Stop at Simpsons Gap and then onto Standley Chasm. Tour the historic Telegraph Station, the Royal Flying Doctor Service, the School of the Air and stop at the Alice Springs Reptile Centre. Conclude with panoramic views from Anzac Hill.

SAT Alice Springs 
Travel south this morning to Ayers Rock. Stopping on the way at the Camel Farm before continuing onto the Uluru-Kata-Tjuta Culutural Centre. Later take a walk to the waterhole of Mutitjulu and see ancient Aboriginal cave paintings. Then join a guide on the Mala walk and tour the base of Uluru. As the sun sets, enjoy a complimentary glass of wine at Uluru. Overnight: Outback Pioneer Hotel or similar

SUN Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Early start this morning to witness Uluru at sunrise. Then onto explore Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) and walk into Walpa Gorge. See ancient rock engravings and rare plants only found among these rocky domes. This afternoon you will be transferred back to Alice Springs. Overnight: Aurora Alice Springs or similar

MON Alice Springs to Darwin 
Today is free for you to explore Alice Springs further, before joining The Ghan for your 6pm departure to Darwin. Overnight: The Ghan

TUE Darwin 
Arrive in Darwin at 5.30pm and make your own way to your accommodation. Overnight: Darwin Central Hotel or similar, 2 nights

WED Darwin
This morning is free for you to relax before your afternoon Darwin City Sights Tour. Highlights will include the Chinese Temple, the lush Botanical Gardens, the East Point Military Precinct, Stokes Hill Wharf area and the Mooring Basin.  

THU Kakadu National Park (L)
Travel into World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park, where you will visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre, then join a guided boat cruise on Yellow Water billabong. After lunch, travel to Nourlangie Rock art site and view the ancient galleries of Aboriginal rock art. Overnight: Aurora Kakadu or similar


FRI Kakadu National Park (L)
Travel by 4WD to Ubirr to see superbly preserved Aboriginal rock art. Join an Aboriginal guide for the Guluyambi Cruise on the East Alligator River. Along the way, with special permission, take a short walk into Arnhem Land (conditions permitting) and enjoy lunch in a bush setting. Later, stop at Window on the Wetlands and watch the changing light of day over the floodplains. Overnight: Darwin Central Hotel or similar

SAT Darwin to Brisbane
Make your way to the airport for your flight home.
